AGATA SMOLAK HAS LED THE CREATION OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROJECT WITH AN EMPHASIS TO MODERN EDUCATION FOR 4.0. JOB MARKET.

Agata is a scientist and inventor, who left her foot print into Education System 4.0.

Growing up in Poland, she was always a very good student with big  dreams for future career. Unfortunately, good greats are not a free pass for success in the job market. After finishing studies, receiving awards and scholarship, she was not meeting the demands of.employers. Finally she realised that the education system she was part of, was based on-fashion methodologies unable to mirror needs of the advanced economical, social and political world she was living in.

The practical advantages of using VR to educate in 2021 thus include:

 

  • Easy access to a plethora of learning resources and scenarios
  • Better gamification and interaction with the educational content
  • Safety net of being able to fail, repeat and learn from mistakes
  • Higher learner engagement, memorization and adoption of content
  • Opportunity for various team-based and collaborative exercises

Virtual Reality (VR) technology will have the impact the way we live. According to reports, by 2030, 23 million jobs will be heavily reliant on VR technology. 

Despite it being a relatively nascent technology, the adoption of virtual reality across companies, organizations, and even governments worldwide has been widespread as its potential becomes clearer with every new development.

The latest virtual reality statistics show that the global market size of AR and VR is forecast to hit $296.9 billion in 2024 (Statista, 2021). This is nearly ten times the $30.7 billion market size registered as recently as 2021.

Between 2021 and 2028, the compound annual growth rate of the market is expected to come in at 18 percent (Grand View Research, 2021)

Virtual reality is a digitally created, three-dimensional environment generated using advanced computer technology. It places users in a simulation and allows them to immerse themselves in a different world. 

This is done with the use of special devices such as headsets, goggles, gloves, and more, which allows users to explore and interact with these virtual worlds and their elements.

My academic interests are how to improve the education system for young people so that they reach their potential in the labour market 4.0.

What i am doing:
  • PhD in public policy – Business & Education cooperation 

  • researching on cooperation between business – education sector,  future skills, EdTECH

  • published a book and several articles in science journals

  • received a scholarship to study in Catholic University of Leuven (Leuven, BL)

  • got the internship in European Parliament (Brussels, BL) and U.S. Congress (Washington D.C., U.S.)

Taking a stand for position of young people to help them with transition from school to labour market, from childhood to adulthood. To fulfil that role I took some steps:

 

  • founding of non-profit called Mladiinfo Poland (2015)
  • creating research group called SMART Youth (2020)
  • educating myself with Global Institute for Involving Woman (2021)

Creating a new innovative synapses in Education ecosystem to connect business, neds of young people with education providers.

 

I am organiser of an international conference dedicated to education 4.0.
